About Us
Who we are and what we do
ShareRing Skills is a voluntary visual art & craft group run by volunteers from Celbridge area. For the last 9 years we have had a residence, offering art & craft sessions in Celbridge Community Library on a drop-in and long-term membership basis.
Since our founding in 2014, we have had our base at Respond Housing, Community Centre, in Springfield Court, Ballymakealy. Here we meet, hold on-going and specific courses in collaboration with CKLP, KWETB and others.
Over the years we have welcomed others to participate in the Adult Learner Festival and specific skills courses.
ShareRing Skills aims to offer space for creativity, fun and social inclusion and integration open to all abilities. Operating on a low or no-cost basis providing volunteer skilled tuition, and materials.
Diversity and disability friendly, all adults are welcome.
During the Covid19 pandemic we used online through Zoom to continue to meet and support members and hold our annual Art and Intercultural Exhibitions.
It is fantastic to be back meeting in person in the library and we are looking forward to offering courses again in Springfield Court.
